My Dessert

Ingredients

1 cup flour
cup butter
cup nuts chopped
8 ounces cream cheese softened
1 cup Cool Whip
2 pkts instant chocolate pudding
3 cups milk
Cool Whip

Preparation

Crust: Mix and pat in 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 minutes. Second Layer: Mix and spread on cooled crust. Third Layer: Mix and let stand a few minutes, then spread over cream cheese layer. Spread whipped cream topping over all and garnish each square with a dab of topping and a maraschino cherry.

NOTES : Aunt Audrey gave me this recipe before I was even married. It was a huge success and became associated with me. I even made this for my own bridal shower at Aunt Audrey's house. The flavors of pudding can be changed, and it is timeless.
