Coffee Beans

While I love a cup of coffee as much as the next person (okay, maybe more), using it as a recipe ingredient has always been a low priority - until, on a whim, I tried out Phil Lempert's recipe for Coffee Cardamom Chicken. Not only was it pleasantly different, but the coffee and cardamom paired together to create a can't-put-your-finger-on-it ethnic flavor that made the recipe well-worth repeating!

Even better, all of these recipes are naturally gluten free/dairy free - with a few careful ingredient substitutions - choose Tamari or gluten free soy sauce and, if GFCF/dairy free, use Earth Balance instead of butter for browning! Bon appetit!
