There are many restaurant critics and guides for eating out in just about every city. Until now, I haven't found a resource reviewing all the eateries that are serving organic and local food. This guide is for NYC and it's called Clean Plates.
It's a brilliant idea since many people want to eat healthy food when they go out, but just don't know how to figure it out. The standards are rigorous, for example, does the restaurant use filtered water or is the meat antibiotic free and grass-fed? It's not just a compilation of restaurant reviews, it's also an easy to understand comprehensive nutrition guide
Jared Koch is a nutritionist and the man behind the concept, and he has plans to expand beyond Manhattan. I'd like to see Clean Plates in every city!
