Los Angeles ice cream shop Scoops, already famous for its unconventional flavors, introduced a Bacon Jalapeno Cheddar ice cream in honor of Eater's Burger Week. The flavor will be available today and Saturday at the store's Westside location.
Though the store has served Jalapeno Cheddar in the past, they opted to add candied bacon as a way to boost the flavor's burger credibility. The owners considered adding bits of meat or a demi-glace to the flavor, but decided that would be disgusting. Agreed.
