This adorable Cut the Rope cake by Crazy Beautiful Cakes plays on the iOS game of the same name by ZeptoLab and Chillingo. It's often compared to another addicting mobile game, Angry Birds, in that gameplay involves physics-based maneuvers and clever use of touch-screen technology.
Crazy Beautiful Cakes designed the Cut the Rope cake for the 2011 Colorado International Cake Exploration Societe Sweet Times in the Rockies cake show. It won first prize in the Division 7 "Cakes for Kids" category, according to the bakery website.
The Cut the Rope cake features the game's main character, Om Nom, and the spider who tries to thwart Om Nom's attempts to eat candy. Five levels are represented: the cardboard box level, the fabric box, the foil box, the gift box and the cosmic box. If you haven't played Cut the Rope, this cute cake might inspire you to start.
