If you can't tell crudo from ceviche, you might want to invest in the Foodie Flashcards by Knock Knock. These retro illustrated cards cover the "patois of the distinguished palate," as Knock Knock boasts, with terms that cover food truck culture, flavor profiles and foams.
The Foodie Flashcards come in a set of 50 with a fold-out game insert with a series of party games. One of the sample games asks participants to set a timer for 2 minutes and see how many flashcards they can guess correctly -- a feat that would probably be harder than it sounds after a few beers.
