It's time forgive tequila for its role in your college antics and give it a second chance. Tequila is produced from agave and, much like wine grapes, the final product can vary depending on where it was grown. Aficionados study regions the same way that wine lovers do in pursuit of terroir. Terroir is a concept describing how the area in which something is grown affects the final product.
