Couch potatoes have a new ally in the Original Shirt Plate, an unbreakable plastic dish attached to a black T-shirt that enables the user to eat in a reclining position. The Shirt Plate system also comes with a leveling attachment to accommodate users of different sizes and shapes.
The Original Shirt Plate was designed by Mike Kochis. ThinkGeek says that three additional varieties of the Shirt Plate system will soon be added to the store's inventory: a tuxedo style for cocktail parties, a sports-themed plate coupled with a belt clip that houses a dip bowl and a china Shirt Plate for special occasions like Thanksgiving.
Is the Original Shirt Plate the laziest innovation you've ever seen?
