This recipe takes an American classic and gives it a Mexican flair. Chipotle pepper imparts a smoky flavor. I prefer to use ground chicken or turkey instead because I feel the chipotle flavor comes through stronger. I top my burgers with guacamole and queso fresco.

Chipotle Burgers
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef (not too lean)
3 Chipolte chiles (from can of Chipoltes in adobo sauce)
3 tablespoons adobo sauce from Chipoltes
1 teaspoon ground oregano
1 teaspoon ground cumin
3 green onions minced
teaspoon salt
