A woman named the Science Goddess, aka Joanne Manaster, explains what causes the allergies in the human body. She uses a cookie and candies for the demonstration.
According to the YouTube description, the cookie came from a food blogger named Ms. Humble at Not So Humble Pie. Though there is plenty of scientific jargon, the video is surprisingly understandable.
