A California man who ventured to Queens, NY responding to a Craigslist advertisement for Château Lafite wine was robbed and beaten. The connoisseur had successfully purchased Lafite through Craigslist before, and was willing to fly across the country for a deal on one of the world's most expensive wines. When he arrived at the meeting spot, he was knocked out, tied up, stripped, robbed of over $40,000, and deprived of wine when he most surely needed a drink. Photo by: Rob Gallop
