On Monday, we featured Rosie of Sweetapolita's asparagus cake, and last month, she created this mind-blowing doodled rainbow birthday cake for her daughter Reese's fourth birthday. The six-layer cake features every color of the rainbow and plenty of lemon Swiss meringue buttercream. To add even more personalization, Rosie covered the cake with vanilla fondant and chilled it overnight before letting Reese color the cake with food decorating pens.
While all culinary creations are edible masterpieces in their own right, this doodled rainbow birthday cake is a piece of art that's just as beautiful to behold as it probably was to eat.
