Earlier this week, Alton Brown announced the end of Good Eats on Twitter, writing, "G.E. fans, I've decided to cut the half hour series at 249 eps. There will be 3 new 1 hour eps this year and that's it. But mourn not. New things brew on the horizon... 'good' things."
In its 249 episodes, Good Eats covered all things culinary, from wood-fired pizza to haggis, hollandaise and candy. Brown's signature blend of nutty scientist and curious chef endeared him to viewers, while his hands-on, accessible approach to cooking kept the series timeless. Will you miss being able to watch new episodes of Good Eats?
