May 12 is Nutty Fudge Day in the United States. Fudge is a very sweet, rich, and gooey type of confectionery. In Europe, it is usually made from sugar and cream. American-style fudge contains chocolate. The earliest chocolate fudge recipe dates back to 1886 from a letter written by Emelyn Battersby Hartridge. Here’s a video for a healthy nutty fudge recipe:
