London's Camden Town

May 17, 2011

You know those days when you can’t decide what to eat? Do not fear, Camden Town is here (that is if you are living or visiting London).  In London’s Camden Town, there is a food court that surpasses all other food courts.

You can enjoy tastes from all over the world, eating your way through India, China, Brazil, and more.  You might start with a pair of Vietnamese spring rolls filled with succulent pink shrimp and then move on to a spicy red Indian curry with fragrant basmati rice.  There are innumerable possibilities to choose from.

If you are having trouble settling on something, go around to each stall and sample the food.  Since each stall is in competition with the others, they all give out free samples and are priced the same (between 4 to 5 pounds).  After you eaten your fill, take some time to walk around the other stalls.  You will stumble upon antique shops, vintage clothes, and even an army store.  Camden Town is a unique spot where you  can eat, shop, and get a feel for an alternative side of London.
