Starbucks Fires Dwarf, Needs a Good Lawyer

The Equal Opportunity Commission is suing Starbucks for firing Elsa Sallard, a dwarf who asked for a stool so she could do her job as a barista at an El Paso store.

Sallard was fired after three days of training because she would have posed a threat to coworkers and customers. The federal suit seeks to recover lost wages and damages for Sallard and asks that Starbucks adopt policies that prevent discrimination in the workplace for those with disabilities.

Stabucks has responded with a statement that says they stictly prohibit any type discrimination for a disability.
