Danish brewery Carlsberg is launching a new beer with an eye towards both male and female consumers. The beer is called Copenhagen and is made for the "number of consumers, especially women, who are very aware of design when they choose beverage products," Carlsberg international innovation director Jeanette Elgaard Carlsson says on their website. "There may be situations where they are standing in a bar and want their drinks to match their style." The bottle and label are inspired by Danish design, and the beer will have a "light, refreshing taste." The beer is first rolling out in Denmark, and then Europe and Asia later this year.
