Explore the tastes of Columbia through arepas. An arepa is a dish made of ground corn meal dough or cooked corn flour. This flat unleavened patty can be grilled, baked, or fried. It is either topped or filled with meat, salad, shrimp, or fish. This is an easy backyard dinner that can be made with leftover chopped chicken or spicy stewed carnitas.
1 cup Pre-Cooked White Corn Meal
1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Butter
1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
