Freshly baked bread is one of life’s simple pleasures. The smell fills the home with warmth and happiness. I am surprised they haven't made a scented candle (it would probably make you hungry!). Focaccia is a flat oven-baked Italian bread which is usually seasoned with olive oil and topped with herbs or other ingredients. The dough is pressed by hand into a half-sheet pan hence why you see dimples on the surface. This bread is great for making panini’s (Italian sandwiches) or for assembling individual pizzas.

1 cup Water
1 teaspoon Sugar
