Sunny days at the beach, hikes in the woods, or just walking around in the summer heat calls for some protection from those blazing rays. But which sunscreen is best? Even natural and organic brands often contain harmful chemicals, so it can be quite confusing. Luckily, the Environmental Working Group has released their annual sunscreen report. The report covers over 1,700 products ranging from mega-toxic to au naturel. Navigate through the myriad of myths and claims, and make an informed choice for you and your family's summer adventures.
My absolute favorite is the Badger. It rubs in like a luxurious lotion, because it's packed with high quality ingredients; shea and cocoa butter, olive, jojoba, and essential oils. It's safe for face and body and contains only zinc as the sun blocker.
