I love my Android. It never fails to amaze me with how much stuff I can cram onto it. Here are three apps that all pertain to food safety. You can't live without them (no pun intended).
For those with food allergies, this app is priceless. Scan a label and see if it contains something you are trying to avoid. Tweak it to highlight just thethoe ingredients. It has promise, although not every ingredient is listed just yet. Well worth the download.
Do you check multiple sites, for recall information? Am I the only one who does? This app sends them right to your smartphone.
Officially named Ask Karen from USDA, this app allows you to ask a virtual person any food safety question you have. Cool and sort of creepy at the same time.
