Designer Dave Hakkens' edible candy pen makes the age-old practice of gnawing on a pen during periods of intense contemplation slightly more socially acceptable. The pens come in several flavors, including mixed candy, banana, watermelon, orange and peppermint; each candy shell hides a functional pen with edible ink.
"When looking at the pen, I noticed that you only use the ink, the other stuff is just there to hold [the] filling more comfortabl[y]," said Hakkens. Pen-chewers, does this edible candy pen appeal to you?

I am wondering just how sticky it would get? Cute idea but I just imagine a kid getting into a very sticky situation.
