Feasts by Julia Gillard is a photographic project that explores all aspects of the seductive yet contentious ritual of eating in America. It's an appropriate series to feature on Memorial Day -- a contemplative holiday that marks the official start of the summer BBQ season.
Many of the photos in Feasts by Julia Gillard depict eating in groups with friends or family, whether it's at a county fair or around a dinner table. Check out the full series at Gillard's website. Do Gilliard's photos resemble your own photographs from family events?
