Over the last couple of decades, New York breweries have come back into fashion. Leading the charge have been a number of quality places in Brooklyn. Well, now, two companies in the Bronx hope to capitalize off that name and jump into the beer market.
The Bronx Brewery and Jonas Bronck's Beer Company both currently make their beer outside of the borough that inspired their name. They would like to brew in the Bronx, but don't have the money to do so yet. Both brewery startups hope to have their first beer ready for bars by this summer.
Are you excited for beer coming from the Bronx?
