Los Angeles' KCET network and award winning Chef Thomas Keller have joined forces for an event that raises money to support new KCET programming. KCET broadcasts a plethora of culinary shows including Simply Ming, Gourmet's Adventures with Ruth Reichl, and more.
For a ticket price of $2500, sixty guests will enjoy a six course tasting menu at Bouchon at the Beverly Hills location. Those lucky sixty will have the pleasure of Mr. Keller joining them for at least one course. If it were me, I might be too star struck to eat Thomas Keller's food in front of him.
Diners will also receive an exclusive tour of the Bouchon kitchen and will participate in a live auction that includes travel packages to the Bahamas.
If you will be in the Los Angeles area on June 13th and want more information on the event call (323) 953-5357, or visit www.KCET.org/tickets.

I know that Thomas Keller is one of the world's best Executive Chefs and that the Bouchon restaurant location in Beverly Hills is one of the country's best restaurants, but the $2,500 ticket cost is very expensive - especially considering how the economy is still in terrible shape.
