This is an Italian version of a peach pie. All you need to do is roll the dough, fill the center with peaches, and fold the edges over the filling. Traditionally, crostata is prepared with jam or figs. You can make this recipe with premade pie crust or make your own homemade dough. This is an easy summer dessert that is best served with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Ingredients:
1 recipe pie dough
4 large peaches, thinly sliced
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon butter
1 whole egg, beaten
