Listeria Detected in Kellogg Cookie Factory

A letter released by the Food and Drug Administration says it found traces of the foodborne pathogen Listeria in an Augusta, Ga. Kellogg cookie factory. The letter further states Kellogg violated several of the Current Good Manufactuing Regulations for food manufacturers.

Kellogg makes Keebler and Famous Amos cookies at the factory. 

The FDA says Kellog has until June 22, to outline the steps they will take to rectify the situation.
