Italian beer Birra Moretti is launching a campaign to encourage Americans to enjoy lunch, Italian-style. Birra Moretti is sponsoring pop-up cafes in New York City with four-course traditional Italian meals to pair with their beers. According to a survey by the beer company, Americans are more stressed than their Italian counterparts, perhaps due to the fact that they take less time for lunch. The survey reports that one in three Americans never leave the office for their lunch break - and were three times more likely to report being stressed than their break-taking counterparts - whereas 79% of Italians do. Tickets for the lunches will be sold through Gilt City.
Does the idea of an extended lunch break (with beer!) appeal to you, or are you happy to work through and get the job done?
