A new wine, Essentia Vitae is trying to appeal to women wine drinkers with a bottle that looks like perfume and labels that give the different wines numbers, rather than names, a la Chanel No. 5. Right now, the wine is available in Germany and Italy. The wine is from grappa distillery Mazzetti d’Altavilla.
No. 4 Ruche is jasmine-scented, No. 6 Malvasia has the scent of rose and No. 8 Moscato smells like violets. Sounds pretty, but how does it taste?
"Essentia Vitaw goes further than most to connect to female customers," Product Launch Analytics Director Tom Vierhile said. "Its perfume-like packaging should break through the crowded product assortments that can often confound shoppers."
