The Plant in Chicago is an old factory that is being transformed into a fully sustainable urban farm. Once finished the project will be the first vertical farm, and has a chance to transform the way farming is done. In addition to growing food, the rest of the space will be an incubator for sustainable food businesses. It's a big dream, and if accomplished could really make an impact in how cities get fed.
