I admit it, baking your own rolls is more time consuming than buying them from the store. But trust me, there is no comparison to freshly baked rolls hot from the oven. The smell fills the home with warmth that only comes from baked dough. To doctor up these rolls, you can brush them with olive oil and roll the tops in herbs, garlic powder, or poppy seeds. These rolls would be delicious with any meal, especially anything with a sauce or gravy to dip them into.
Ingredients:
5 cups all-purpose flour
7 tablespoons brown sugar
2 package (¼ oz.) Active Dry Yeast (½ oz. total)
¼ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons butter
½ cup milk
1 cup warm water (Do not exceed 110 Deg F)
2 tablespoons olive oil (Cooking spray works just as well)
