Chef One, Corp., a Brooklyn, N.Y., establishment is recalling approximately 36 pounds of pork egg rolls because the product is misbranded and contains undeclared allergens. The product was prepared using soy, milk and egg, known allergens which were not declared on the label, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The following product is subject to recall: 4 cases of 9 lb. boxes of "Chef One Pork Egg Rolls," containing 50 egg rolls per box.
The products subject to recall contain establishment number "EST. 21424" inside the USDA mark of inspection on the label. An identifying packaging code "261505103" can be found on each box. The product was produced on May 2, 2011, and shipped to a distribution center in Brooklyn, NY.
