The Nestle Innovation Lab design above was created by Rojkind Arquitectos for the candy giant's research facility in Queretaro, Mexico. Its orange cutout arches hint at the sweet concoctions designed within, while interior accent walls in blue, green and sunny yellow combat the standard idea of stark white walls in a lab setting.
The Nestle Innovation Lab is as environmentally friendly as it is aesthetically pleasing. Efficient hybrid lighting, low-flow water fixtures, carpet made from recycled content, low-VOC paint and high-performance glass windows are just some of the office's many green features. The Nestle office even has a water treatment plant to recycle wastewater.
