
Chicken teriyaki can easily be made at home. You no longer have to eat it at sushi restuarants or be subjected to bottled sauce. I prefer to make my own teriyaki marinade because I have more control over the ingredients and their amounts. You can choose to serve this the traditional way with steamed white rice and vegetables or do something out of the box and make an asian slaw and quinoa. This recipe would also be excellent on the grill. Try this homemade teriyaki marinade and let me know wha tyou think. I would love to hear your feedback in the comment section.
Ingredients:
½ cup soy sauce
1 clove garlic finely minced
1 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 tablespoon minced onions
¼ teaspoon pepper
4 pounds chicken
