Since it's the 4th of July, it's a perfect time to celebrate farmers. As the American Farmland Trust states, "No Farms No Food".
This organization is dedicated to saving farm and ranch land lands by conservation efforts and an active campaign to encourage Americans to support their local farmers by shopping at the farmers market.
Thanks to their ongoing America's Favorite Farmers Market contest, they have compiled a list of the top five farmers markets in each state. Check out what markets should not be missed in your region.
