Rachael Ray has the mainstream 30-minute meal market on lockdown, but "Kitchen Revival" is a cooking show that recreates movie meals in an attempt to win over film buffs. Chef Haley Simonds is the host of the show, and every aspect of each episode, from its music to its sets and specialty dish, will reflect the theme movie.
"Kitchen Revival" is the brainchild of Sarah Nevada Smith, Haley Simonds and Kiki Allgeier. The first episode is called "Tippi's Revenge," and will feature a meal entirely inspired by "The Birds" by Alfred Hitchcock. Future episodes will focus on films like "Fatal Attraction," "Black Swan," "Ghostbusters," "Bridesmaids" and "True Grit." Here's the trailer for the first episode:
