There is something about an ice cream sandwich that brings joy to everyone. I love making them for my family, especially my husband. He gets all giddy, and always asks me to tuck one away for the next night. My kids are known to clean out a whole batch while he is at work, so he and I conspire to keep an extra one safe for Dad, in the freezer that sits in the garage. Don't tell the kids, or my cover is blown.
