Baking homemade bread is one of the most relaxing activities that a person can do.  Not only is it an activity good for the soul but also good for the tummy.  Making your own whole wheat bread puts you in control of the ingredients- no high fructose corn syrup here.  You will feel proud that you have made your whole wheat loaf.

Whole Wheat Loaf

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups water

2 ½ tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons molasses (or honey)

2 cups whole wheat flour

2 cups all-purpose flour or bread flour

1 ½ teaspoons salt

1 ½ teaspoons yeast
