I go crazy for sweet potato fries. Whenever I see it on a menu, I got to order it. However, this tactic has not served my bank account well so I started making these sweet potato fries at home. These oven-roasted fries save you calories and money. The sweetness of these fries pairs nicely with dipping sauces like a blue cheese dip or chipotle-honey salsa. You can serve these fries with just about anything but I always go for the classic burger and fries combo.
Ingredients:
2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced slightly thinner than steak fries
2 tablespoons of canola oil
Salt and Pepper
2 tablespoons of brown sugar
1 teaspoon of kosher salt
½ teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Try it with coconut oil! It's a much healthier oil than canola. And it's delicious with the sweet potato.
