The Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams Team Contest plays on the iconic line from Field of Dreams: "If you build it, they will come." The online contest asks fans to rank their favorite living baseball players on the Pepsi MAX website. One lucky fan -- and 10 of his or her friends, of course -- will face off against the winning players in the winner's hometown.
Fans have fantasies about playing against Major Leaguers, and this is going to give them a chance to do it," said Carlton Fisk, who is among the 30 eligible MLB players for the Pepsi MAX Field of Dreams Team Contest. The winning fan and the fantasy MLB team will be announced in September.
