Food trucks have exploded in popularity, and there have been a fair few growing pains in the process; the FoodTruck FastPass app hopes to help consumer and business owners alike by streamlining communication. The app enables food truck owners to broadcast daily specials, unavailable menu items, the truck's location and group buying opportunities. Customers can even buy items from a participating food truck online ahead of time.
On the back end of things, the FoodTruck FastPass app will help food truck owners track orders and sales so that they can better plan their inventory. An included receipt printer helps owners keep prepaid orders organized. The app is currently only for Android phones, despite the prevalence of iPhones on the CloudSource Labs website.
