Anke Domaske is a German biologist who is turning heads for her clothing made with sour milk. Domaske spins substandard milk that would otherwise have been thrown away into yarn, which is then used to make silky-smooth wrap dresses and other contemporary fashion.
The 28-year-old scientist-turned-fashion designer says of her milk couture, "The special thing about it is that we can manufacture it without using any pesticides or chemicals, and it only takes an hour to produce." Check out Anke Domaske's manufacturing process below:
