The Svedka Walk of Shame Kit aims to glorify the cheekily named practice of heading home early the next morning after a night of partying hard. "Svedka Vodka wants to turn the Walk of Shame into a badge of honor," said Marina Hahn, the chief marketing officer of Svedka.
The Svedka Walk of Shame Kit contains essentials to freshen up the next morning, including sunglasses (called "re-entry shades"), lip balm, a hair brush, dry shampoo, mints, cleansing wipes, a tote bag for high heels, deodorant, and a fake diamond earring that gives the owner an excuse to call her date without parting with a prized possession. Svedka even dubbed July 27 the National Walk of Shame Day. Is this ad campaign silly and misguided or clever and contemporary?
