It is that time of year again; time to make the pickles! Here is a neat and tidy explanation on how easy it is to can dill pickles. My grandmother was the queen of the pickle. She hand sliced cucumber and onions so thinly, you could read a paper through each slice. No need to be that fancy, just make some of these beauties.
