Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution is fundraising alongside Chipotle Mexican Grill and top chefs in the Los Angeles area to support educational food programs.
In the next three months, over 100 participating restaurants in LA will be handing out cards to their patrons, asking them to text 20222 to donate $5 to the Food Revolution.
This new campaign is the result of Oliver learning the nutritional information of the average school lunch and the current childhood obesity rates in LA, which currently sits at 42%. With Oliver's and Food Revolution's initiative to change the way people eat with a few simple ingredients. the campaign hopes to educate LA residents on how to make better meals for their kids.
