Divers and archaeologists have just discovered a shipwreck that once belonged to Captain Henry Morgan -- yes, that Captain Morgan. The team found the Captain Morgan shipwreck near the Lajas Reef, a spot that took five of the pirate's ships in 1671, according to Discovery News.
Naturally, Captain Morgan USA has jumped on the boat. When a dive team at Texas State University ran out of funds to find the Captain Morgan shipwreck, the beverage company stepped in to save the day. Along with the wreckage, divers also discovered chests and unopened cargo boxes; these items have not yet been opened.
Note: the photo above isn't from the Captain Morgan shipwreck; it's a far more recent wreck that occurred near Maui.
