
One of the most recognizable faces in food writing is Ruth Reichl, With her dark curly hair and infectious smile, she is easy to spot on the covers of magazines and books. Reichl has previously worked for such renowned publications like Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Gourmet magazine, and written four culinary based memoirs.
Recently, Reichl informed Haaretz.com that she is working on a script for an adaptation of her book Garlic and Sapphires: The Secret Life of a Critic in Disguise. The cast has yet to be selected, but the question on everyone's mind is who is going to play Mrs. Reichl? Rumors have said it might be Anne Hathaway but her rep denies the claim.
