Google+ cooking classes are the latest way in which users of the Google social network are leveraging its included services. Google Hangouts, the built-in video chat feature of Google+, enables enterprising home cooks to virtually host cooking lessons for dozens of attendees.
The New York Times recently profiled Lee Allison, who runs the Google+ Cooking School. Allison offers hour-long Google+ cooking classes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. "The idea is to foster social interactions while making a meal, so it's designed to let people cook along or just hang out," he said. Would you attend a virtual cooking class?

It would depend on how professional it appeared. I would not hang around to hear someone say "Um" every other word, even if they are great cooks. This may have potential.
