A naughty commercial for Nando's Little Hotties got the attention of Australia's Advertising Standards Authority for all the wrong reasons. The ad features a young woman clad in burlesque-inspired lingerie holding a platter of burgers; an accompanying voiceover says, "Tight buns. Great breasts. And oh so saucy. These little hotties have got it all."
The ASA ruled that the Nando's Little Hotties commercial didn't violate its code of ethics, but the ad got its fair share of complaints regardless. Kim Russel, the marketing director of the Nando's burger restaurant, said that the campaign's intent was to be "sassy, not sexy."
