5 Summer Recipes PETA Would Approve

August 20, 2011

PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) promotes vegetarian and vegan living.  On their website, they have a entire section devoted to vegetarian recipes and cooking.  You can search meal type, cuisine, or food. There are a myriad of recipes including Korean "meatballs," Greek salad with tofu and olives, and tempeh herb sandwiches.  You will also find information f how to make the transition from omnivore to vegetarian/vegan and you can request a free "starter kit."  If you are thinking about making the change, this may be a good place to start.
